IMPORTANT: PRE-EMPTIVE NOTICE
“RED ALERT” OR SCHOOL CLOSURE MEASURES – ONLINE LESSONS
Dear Parents & Guardians,
In view that the Ministry of Health (MOH) has moved the DORSCON Outbreak Code to “Orange Alert", this is a pre-emptive letter to inform you of the measures that AGrader will be adopting to cover the continual learning needs of all our students should the existing Coronavirus Outbreak situation worsen, and School Closure is announced.
School can stop but learning cannot as tests and exams will still go on. We should not compromise the learning needs of our students as much as we can afford to and should try to live life as normally as possible. However, we also cannot compromise the safety of our children.
IN THE EVENT OF A “RED ALERT” OR SCHOOL CLOSURE:
All AGrader Learning Centres will be closed and:
#1 – e-Learning Online Lessons – Through the latest available technology, AGrader will be bringing our lessons online for the following levels & subjects:
#2 – Fee Discounts for e-Learning Online Lessons – Through modern-day technology and scale, as we’re able to bring lessons online and as our centres are closed temporarily, we will be provisioning a 60% discount for all lessons that are brought online.
(e.g. $123.95/mth = $49.58/mth)
Every lesson will cost less as we harness technology to bring learning online, students will be fully supported even AFTER lessons through a private Facebook Group to ask questions and watch the learning videos again at any time, for unlimited number of times. This means there will be no learning gaps and they’d still be prepared for their school lessons and exams - all the while learning from the safety of home.
#3 – Here’s What AGrader’s e-Learning & Online Lessons Will Look Like:
2 sets of worksheets for every lesson (1 student copy and 1 full set of worked solutions that teachers normally use) will be mailed to your doorstep
Exclusive access to the entire video of the lesson being taught will be made available to students to be watched at home on a laptop, phone or tablet. [1x long video]
Exclusive access to bite-sized videos (individual explanation videos of every single question) of the lesson will be uploaded so it is easier to reference with the corresponding naming convention (e.g. 16 questions = 16 videos)
Online support from our in-house curriculum team for all lessons delivered online for any post-lesson questions to be asked (through a private Facebook Group)

#4 – POTENTIAL Live-Streaming of Lessons for the following Levels & Subjects (No e-Learning Online Lessons):
The above levels & subjects have been identified for the possibility of conducting lessons via the means of live streaming. Should we implement live streaming, it would be done in the following manner:
We’d be creating individual group chats with you and the teacher to facilitate the arrangement.
Further details will be provided via WhatsApp.
#5 – Temporary Stoppage of Lessons for the following Levels & Subjects (No e-Learning Online Lessons):
As lessons will be stopped for the above levels & subjects, we will not be charging parents for the lessons. Fees will be pro-rated for all parents.
Pre-Emptive - While the above measures are all pre-emptive, AGrader is already preparing for the event of a “Red Alert” status OR School Closure, and hopes to have your support as much as possible.

We seek your cooperation in the following measures implemented:

To safeguard the health of all members of the AGrader community, we will be implementing a Leave of Absence (LOA) of 14 days for students who have travelled to and/or returned from Mainland China from 14th January 2020 onwards.
Students who have travelled to and/or returned from Mainland China from 14th January 2020 should:

Monitor their health and seek medical attention promptly if feeling unwell
All AGrader Learning Centres will provide the following support for the affected students:
Issue credit notes for the affected lessons
Provide soft copies of the Worksheet and Teacher’s Annotated Copy for the affected lessons
2) Temperature Taking Exercise Prior to Lessons
We will require ALL students attending lessons to:
Report to the counter before lessons for temperature taking
Students with temperatures measuring above 37.5 degrees Celsius will be asked to return home for rest
Soft copies of that week’s Worksheet along with the Teacher’s Annotated Copy will be provided
While our teachers and staff actively look out for the well-being of students, please ensure your child/ward practises good personal hygiene and social responsibility. You should take your child/ward to the doctor if he/she is unwell and we would appreciate it that you keep your child/ward at home until he/she recovers.
